- Open RingCentral on your computer, and log in with your Trinity Google credentials.
- On the main menu of RingCentral, click Schedule.
- A new window will pop up, letting you schedule the meeting. Name the meeting whatever you want, and set the start and end time of the meeting. The times are just for organizational purposes, and do not affect when the meeting can actually begin or end. If you want to create a recurring meeting, check that box.
- Schedule the meeting using Google Calendar. If you are scheduling a recurring meeting and don't want it to be added to your Google Calendar, choose "Meeting Info" instead. The meeting link can then be copied after you save. Do not choose any other calendars, as they will not work and prevent you from scheduling the meeting.
- For the meeting settings, uncheck the "Use Personal Meeting ID" box, and check the "Participants can only join after me" and "Open waiting room" boxes. The "Open waiting room" box is unchecked by default, so make sure to check the box.
- Click on Advanced settings, and uncheck every box, unless you know you want one of the features. Set Record meeting automatically to Off.
- Also in Advanced Settings, make sure that the meeting audio is set to telephone and internet. This is the default setting, so you shouldn't need to change it.
- Click "Schedule" to schedule the meeting. Your web browser will open up to a Google Calendar page. You may need to sign in with your Trinity Google account and accept RingCentral's permissions. From here, you can save the meeting to your Google Calendar and send a calendar invite to other people by adding them as guests.
- To get the meeting link to send to other people, you can either copy the link from the Google Calendar invite:
Alternatively, in RingCentral, hover over the scheduled meeting, then click the three dots icon that appears next to it on the right, then click "Copy Meeting Link" to copy the link to your clipboard. You can then paste the link into an email or any other document. - To start a scheduled meeting, in RingCentral, hover over the scheduled meeting, then click "Join".
