Student Printing at Trinity

Exciting news! Student Printing has now been enabled on campus. Trinity uses a system called PaperCut, which makes it easier and more convenient to control when and where your documents are printed.

Each Trinity student has been given a printer pin and a 50 page black and white print quota per semester. You must use your assigned pin in order to release your print jobs.

How to Check Your Pin and Printing Balance:
Students should use PaperCut to view their Printer Pin and Printing Balance. To find PaperCut, open Google Chrome and navigate to the Trinity Bookmarks Tab in the top left corner of your browser.

Select “PaperCut” from the Trinity Bookmarks Bar and select “Sign in with Google” to sign in with your Trinity login credentials. From here you can view your Printer Pin by clicking “Card/ID” (Click “Show” to view) in the top left hand corner and your remaining Print Balance under “Balance.”

To Print:
1) Print your document.

2) Select “Student-Printer” from the “Destination” drop-down menu in the printer dialog menu and then select “Print.”
(Please Note: If you do not see the Student-Printer option from the drop-down menu, select “See More”).

3) Walk over to the Student Printer, which is located next to the vending machines in the Commons in Academic.
4) Enter your pin on the kiosk.

5) Select “Print” from the Print Screen Kiosk to print a single print job or “Print All” to print multiple print jobs. You can view your print balance at the top of the screen before selecting “Print.”

6) Select “Yes” from the pop-up menu to release/print all listed jobs. Your print job will begin queuing and will be released to the printer.
