We recommend that your computer's case should be left on at all times. However, there are some circumstances (such as Laptop Check-In) where it will need to be taken off. Sometimes it can be difficult to remove the case, so this guide will provide some tips on how to remove it more easily.

Bottom Case

Pull off the tab from the right side of the bottom case, then pull off the rest of the tabs in a clockwise order. The bottom case usually comes off fairly easily.

Top Case

Pull off the tabs on the top of the top case, one at a time. This can be difficult, so you may find it helpful to use a tool or card that you can wedge between the tab and the computer. Once these tabs are off, the top case should slide off the computer.
