Setting up Blackbaud ID First Login

Blackbaud ID

To set up your Blackbaud ID account please follow these steps.


  1. Log into the Trinity Website as you normally would with your legacy username:



  2. You will receive a message saying that your username is being converted to use Blackbaud ID:


  3. You may be prompted to enter a 6-digit code to confirm your identity. This code will be sent to the email displayed on the previous screen. If you are not prompted, skip to the next step.


  4. Click on "Next" and you will be presented with a registration window. Here you can either enter a password of your choice along with your first and last name OR you can click "Sign up with Google" if you have a Gmail account. Do not edit the "Email address" field. If you choose to "Sign up with Google" your Gmail account you use must match the account prefilled under "Email address"

  5. You may be requested to confirm your email again, or if you didn't need to confirm it in Step 3 it will request it now:
  6. You will be shown a confirmation page, and then redirected to the Trinity Website Login Page. Enter your Email Address and press "Next":




  7. You will be redirected to the Blackbaud ID sign in page, if you already have an active session you can skip the the next step, if not please enter your email and password you created during the previous sign up process OR if you clicked "Sign up with Google" during the set up process you can now "Sign in with Google":


  8. If this is your first time logging in with Blackbaud ID, you will be informed that your account is being converted to use Blackbaud ID:


  9. You should now be able to sign into the Trinity Website with your Blackbaud ID!
