Reducing Google Classroom Notifications

Sometimes, you might get notified twice for a single assignment - by Google Classroom, and by email. You can choose which email notifications are sent to you from Google Classroom to prevent this from happening.

1. In Google Classroom, click on the three lines icon at the top left, then click Settings.
   
2. From here, you can choose which types of email notifications you want to receive.
3. Scroll down and click on "Class notifications" to choose which classes you want to receive any notifications for.

Keep in mind that turning off notifications is not an excuse for missing classes or assignments!
