Modified on Tue, 21 Jul, 2020 at 2:20 PM

What is Wakelet?

Wakelet is a curation tool that allows you to save, organize, tell stories, and share content from around the web as a collection. You can bookmark anything, organize and curate, and collaborate and share.

Ideas for Classroom Use

  • Save and Present Resources: Student or Teacher-Curated lists that can be gathered for review, research, or a project
  • Portfolios: Document continuous progress by saving numerous links to a Wakelet collection - save essays, podcasts, artwork, videos, Google Docs, Slides, Padlets, and more
  • Project-Based Learning: Gather research and resources into a Wakelet for PBL
  • Newsletters: Highlight the most important activities/resources from class for parents or students. Include PDF files with reminders or classroom expectations, share key resources that students are studying, or share digital creations from students
  • Novel or Book Study: Package a variety of activities for a novel study into a single Wakelet
  • Student Remediation or Review: Curate resources for your students in preparation for an assessment or additional info for lost learners and/or to differentiate learning
