Smart Mailboxes

You can create Smart Mailboxes in Apple Mail. To start, on the top bar, go to Mailbox -> New Smart Mailbox. From here, you can choose the parameters required for an email to enter the Smart Mailbox. When you are done, click OK. The Smart Mailbox can be accessed on the left side of the Mail app.

Rules

You can do a variety of things with rules, such as making certain emails a specific color to denote them. On the top bar, go to Mail -> Preferences, then choose the Rules tab. From here, click Add Rule. Enter a description for the rule, the conditions for the rule, and the actions to be performed when the conditions are met. When you are done, click OK.
