The workroom copiers can scan directly to your email or Google Drive. They can scan to PDF, JPEG, or DOCX formats, and support Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
How to Scan
- Head to one of the workroom copiers, and log in with your print card.
- Choose the "Scan" option.
- Select your preferred scan option (email or Google Drive).
- Adjust the scan settings if needed. You can enter a different filename, as well as the file type, DPI, color mode, etc.
- If you want to add more pages to the document, place the next page on the scanner, then select "New Scan Document". If you are done scanning, press "Send".
- The document will then be emailed to you, or sent to your Google Drive in the "Scans for PaperCut MF" folder in your drive.
- If it's your first time sending a document to Google Drive, you will need to authorize PaperCut to have access to your account. You should automatically receive an email asking for PaperCut authorization. Open the email and follow the steps to authorize your account. The document will then be sent to your Google Drive.
